# AMEU – Association of Municipal Electricity Utilities (Southern Africa)

> The Association of Municipal Electricity Utilities (AMEU) is the representative body for electricity distribution utilities and commercial companies in Southern Africa, established in 1915. The association advances the interests of its members through knowledge sharing, technical training, CPD events, and an annual convention.
